National Geographic contracted with Innovation Landscape to develop an integrated geo-located question and answer system to support the launch of “Geography Awareness Week”.
Within a few weeks National Geographic was able to provide geographically contextual tour and story lines to support the geography game on the main web-site. Innovation Landscape has been providing yearly updates for each version of the game since its inception. Highlighted project deliverables include:
- The development of a query / response system triggering “next steps” in the game progression
- Google Earth point of interest icon design and implementation
- Database design and implementation for high-performance experience for world-wide audience.
